Job Title: Pro Shop Attendant – Golf Course
Location: Stewart Meadows Golf Course – 1301 S Holly St Medford OR 97501
Job Type: 2-3 Shifts Per Week 6-8 Hours Per Shift
Job Summary: Stewart Meadows Golf Course is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pro Shop Attendant. This position offers the opportunity to work and play an integral role in providing exceptional experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the pro shop and course.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist golfers, visitors, and members in a professional and friendly manner.
Process sales of golf equipment, apparel, accessories, and merchandise.
Manage and maintain inventory, ensuring the pro shop is well-stocked and organized.
Handle reservations, tee times, and provide information on course policies, events, and promotions.
Assist with checking in golfers and renting equipment as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the pro shop, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
Promote and upsell products, golf lessons, and memberships.
Answer phones and respond to emails or inquiries related to golf services.
Work closely with the golf course management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
A strong passion for golf and knowledge of the sport is preferred but not required.
Previous customer service experience, preferably in retail or hospitality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
