Practice Financial Group is a fast-growing company with plenty of personal growth opportunity. You'll be working with a dynamic group of people to serve the accounting, tax, and financial planning needs (business and personal) of our dental and medical practice owning clients across the country.
We are looking for someone to become our next lead financial planner who will act as the business and personal CFO for our dental practice owning clients. In this role, we will support you in your effort to obtain the Certified Financial Planner® designation (the CPA-caliber equivalent in the financial planning industry). You will have the opportunity to help our clients create their financial future by providing tax planning, retirement planning, investment management, medical/dental practice profitability management, cash flow planning, debt reduction strategies services, etc. This knowledge and these services will be used to directly help our clients progress towards financial independence. Over time, for these high net worth individuals, you will become their most trusted advisor.
Qualifications
To excel at this job you will need:
- 5-10 years of experience working for a reputable public accounting firm, ideally in tax.
- Active CPA license.
- Proven evidence of career growth and success in prior endeavors
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with great attention to detail and big-picture strategy
- Strong ability to organize and analyze detailed information
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Solid interpersonal and sales skills. This is not a sales job, but the abilities to ask good questions, listen with empathy, and communicate persuasively are critical to success.
