Wood Framing Crew Foreman

Oregon, Klamath falls

Vacancy caducado!

Moore Construction has been providing custom wood framing services in Southern Oregon for over 24 years. Today we are the largest framing subcontractor in Southern Oregon, with multiple crews throughout the valley serving primarily commercial, multifamily, and prevailing wage jobs, as well as a wall panel manufacturing plant in White City, OR.

We have a team of respectful, professional and skilled people who take pride in their work. We're currently growing into the Klamath Falls region, with several large commercial projects beginning in just a few weeks, and are looking for local foreman to join our team.

The foreman is the driving force of every project and is responsible for leading by example, working to constantly improve themselves and their trade, developing an intimate understanding of the project plans and details, overseeing multiple crews, creating & keeping the project on schedule, anticipating material needs days in advance, communicating on a regular basis with the operations team, coaching employees, interacting with the superintendent and other subcontractors, and representing the company and its policies to all people.

A foreman is more than a highly skilled, well-seasoned carpenter; they are proven leaders who represent the face of Moore Construction management at the field level and have earned the respect of their coworkers. On a typical day the foreman is first to the job and last to leave. They know the plans well and coordinate with lead carpenters to solve problems and keep the project moving on schedule. They coordinate daily with the operations team to ensure materials and equipment is on-site well in advance. They conduct performance reviews and monitor employee attendance and time management each day. They work with the safety coordinator to create safety plans and ensure compliance with safety policies on the job site.
