Driving Force Graphics is a full-service graphic design and sign shop serving Bend for over 24 years. We are a very unique shop that has a variety of departments and is looking for a full -time office manager that can multi-task, create and overall, just get the job done. Job Description
This position oversees all aspects of a versatile and flexible print shop including production, graphics, billing, installation and customer service.
Job Duties:
Being the front line for this business. This includes (but not limited to) customer service, creating workorders, invoices, AP/AR, paying bills, inventory control including:
Organize workforce during regular hours or in an extra hour's situation
Supervise employees in a professional manner as well as personnel management
Deal with customer problems in a professional manner
Monitor jobs in production and communicate with production and graphics specialists regarding special jobs, proofs, and shipping info
Contact clients with questions on specifications and/or questions of job submitted
Assist production specialist and communicate to ensure all deadlines are met and cost budget are adhered to
Train staff on proper procedures and techniques
Install or contract for graphic installations, including cut vinyl, signs, wall graphics
Superior customer service ability and experience in handling client both over the phone and in person
Expert knowledge of equipment, and materials
Ability to speak knowledgeably about department capability and company to potential and existing clients
Highly developed organizational ability
Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus
Positive attitude towards daily work, coworkers, and clients
Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware problems
Ability to communicate effectively with employees when delegating work and explaining procedures and processes
Knowledge on wide format printing on various materials (wallcovering, vehicle graphics, wall murals, etc.)
Graphic design as well as graphic file preparation
Reads job specifications to understand scope of project; asks for clarification when needed.
Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production.
Prepares substrates for application, which may include loading and unloading printers, cutters, laminating, mounting, etc.
Weeds excess vinyl from cut images
Monitor inventory levels and stock to be reordered
Works on different projects simultaneously.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with other teammates using courteous and professional manner.
Proficient with technology
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a bonus
Qualifications
2-3 Years of Graphics experience
3-5 years of Digital Print Production management experience
