The position of Cleaning Department Supervisor must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and respect for the personal possessions of others. Candidate must also be willing to receive training in specific tasks and techniques, and to demonstrate a proficiency in those tasks and techniques within a reasonable period of time following commencement of employment.

As a Cleaning Department Supervisor, no single day will be the same. You will be improving your skills within the Restoration Industry from proper removal of damaged contents to the science of cleaning and sanitizing damaged structures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Schedule, Estimate, Manage and complete Cleaning jobs according to SERVPRO® processes per work order. Respond to service calls, set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job documentation, perform and supervise production work, and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site. Communicate and establish relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Explain processes and answer customer questions, as needed

- Supervise a crew of Cleaning Technicians

- Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns

- Communicate clear expectations to Cleaning Technicians and supervise their activities

- Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control

- Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety

- Resolve problems quickly as they arise

- Supervise Cleaning Department job file documentation

- Supervise and control costs of production projects

- Supervise assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

- Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas

- Participate in an on call rotation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

- Understanding of Fire and Water damage cleaning within restoration industry.

- Must have a professional appearance and great attitude.

- A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.

- On occasion, some evening and weekend work is required with additional pay.

- Position requires frequent bending, lifting (up to 30+ lbs.) walking, driving, working from ladders.

- Effective written and oral communication

- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred

- IICRC certifications in Fire and Smoke Damage preferred

- Ability to travel locally
