Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob Description Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a Business Development Manager to expand market share and generate revenue with our innovative Antibody and Molecular diagnostic products for the post-transplant market. Join our exceptional team and drive above-market growth. The successful candidate will manage their sales territory, meet sales targets, and contribute to our mission of improving global health, cleanliness, and safety.Territory:This is an outside sales role covering the West Territory (all states west of the MIssissippi) for this Post Transplant Business. Residency within the territoy is required, no relocation assistance.Key Duties to include:

Drive the achievement of sales targets and market expansion of product lines related to post-transplant monitoring.

Educate across the continuum of transplant patient care, applicable to the use of post-transplant molecular diagnostics and antibody monitoring. Call points include nephrology, cardiology, and pulmonology, transplant coordinators, hospital administrators, and hospital laboratories.

Engage in the creation and communication of scientific information, education, clinical practice change, and the development and engagement of key opinion leader relationships.

Collaborate with the Laboratory Account Management Team, Medical Science Liaison, and Marketing to find opportunities in the territory. Foster relationships between transplant physicians and HLA laboratories to generate demand for post-transplant monitoring product lines.

Continually develop sales practices to ensure the highest levels of quality, access, efficiency, and service.

Support the overall business by helping understand market trends and identify growth opportunities to improve our value proposition.

Manage, review, and analyze personal and business performance monthly, including targeted goals, efficiency, and operations.

Leverage Salesforce.com to track opportunities and sales activities.

Attend trade and vendor shows and meetings as needed.

Other duties as required.

Experience:

A 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Health Science field is required.

3-5 years previous Healthcare Industry experience required, preferably in transplantation, histocompatibility and/or immunogenetics. Prior sales experience is preferred with a proven track record of success.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions:

Collaborate with clinical investigators, researchers, and key opinion leaders in the transplant community to promote our solutions in the clinical space.

Our solutions include post-transplant DSA monitoring, the Molecular Microscope Diagnostic System, and donor derived cfDNA.

Excellent problem-solving and persuasion skills.

Ability to challenge customers by professionally presenting clinical solutions to physicians.

An understanding of commercial strategy, clinical market expansion, health economics, and reimbursement coding.

Proven track record of effectively presenting information, analyzing data, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience and knowledge of molecular diagnostic assay technology.

Significant travel required (>50%).

Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Texas is $120,000.00–$177,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
