We are a new Eugene-based, globally-oriented, climate and green tech consulting team seeking a part-time research assistant to support our projects and take advantage of the learning opportunities it will present to you. The position will start on a paid-by-project basis, then expand to 5+ hours a week, then will hopefully offer significant opportunities for growth over time.
Responsibilities:
- Do the search and data entry work to populate a system that will automatically track updates from climate-related organizations and companies around the world
- Collaborate with our team to leverage various technologies that we’ll teach you how to use, including artificial intelligence, to monitor developments in green tech, climate, renewable energy, and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in intersectional social justice, climate justice, and Indigenous issues in the green economy is highly preferred.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology and tools to gather and analyze information.
- Motivation to both help with this work and build skills that you can deploy in support of social change work beyond this project.
