Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cannabis Cultivation Technician to assist in the daily operations of our grow facility. This position will involve a variety of tasks, including planting, watering, harvesting, defoliation, cleaning, and general maintenance to ensure the health and quality of our plants.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planting, transplanting, and spacing of cannabis plants.
Water plants according to schedule and ensure proper irrigation.
Perform defoliation and canopy management to promote healthy growth.
Assist in the harvest process, including cutting, hanging, trimming, and curing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grow rooms and facility.
Monitor plant health and report any signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
Follow all company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols.
Assist with maintaining environmental controls (temperature, humidity, etc.).
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of cultivation rooms and equipment.
Assist with inventory management and data recording of plant growth and progress.
Qualifications:
Experience in cannabis cultivation or a similar agricultural setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice plant health issues.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Familiarity with cultivation equipment and processes is a plus.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Must be 21 years or older and pass any required background checks.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $16 per hour, with room for advancement
