$81,353- $122,029 annually, depending on experience and based on State of Oregon defined bona fide factors in accordance with Oregon's Pay Equity Act.

Relocation reimbursement for actual costs up to $5,000 may be available if incumbent is relocating greater than 100 miles.

Position Overview:

The City of Springfield is seeking a Community Development Budget Manager. This position reports directly to the Community Development Division Director and will work closely with CMD Leadership, DPW leadership, the City Manager’s Office and the Finance Department to ensure coordination and communication as it relates to the CMD and DPW budget. Core responsibilities of this position will include: CMD and DPW budget development and tracking, development of user rates, creation of financial policies, long term strategic financial planning and forecasting, and capital improvement financial planning.

Training & Experience:

The City will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. Such a way to meet minimum qualifications could include:

Associate degree or two-year certificate in accounting, finance, public administration, or related field, and;

A minimum of 3 years of experience in professional-level finance experience including forecasting, budget development, and strategic planning.
