Front Desk Associate – Eugene, Oregon
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at our motel in Eugene, Oregon. This post is 5 days per week, ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent guest service in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a warm, professional attitude
Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures
Confirm guest information, assign rooms, and issue room keys
Process payments for room charges and additional services
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly
Monitor and respond to emails efficiently
Handle reservations and maintain accurate booking records
Keep the front desk area neat and organized
Provide guests with information about motel amenities and local attractions
Stay informed about room availability and accommodation types
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for smooth daily operations
Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
Notify management of unresolved concerns or emergencies
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
Familiarity with hotel booking software is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Additional Requirements:
Spanish language skills are highly recommended
Availability for a consistent 5-day workweek
Night audit shifts may be included in the schedule
