Terpening Terrace Retirement is seeking a dedicated full-time Dining Room Manager to lead our exceptional dining experience. We are willing to train the right candidate with strong management experience. Join our vibrant team and help create memorable dining moments for our residents!
About the Role
Our dining room operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, offering a full restaurant-style menu. The Dining Room Manager, in collaboration with the Assistant Dining Room Manager, oversees the entire Dining Room Service program. Responsibilities include:
Actively supervising and participating in table service to ensure seamless, high-quality resident experiences.
Maintaining fast, efficient, and courteous service while upholding organization and cleanliness in the dining room and related areas.
Ensuring strict adherence to all health and sanitation regulations.
Managing staff scheduling, conducting team meetings, completing reports, training new employees, and ordering dining room supplies and dishes.
Leading a team of approximately 15-20 staff members with the support of an Assistant Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Management experience and strong supervisory skills.
Highly organized with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering quality resident experiences.
Friendly, patient, and team-oriented personality.
Ability to pass a criminal background check (required).
