The Village School is a public charter school serving students from Kinder thru 8th grade.
Description: The Village School seeks part-time teachers to serve:
● Lower Grades (1-4) (Tuesdays & Thursdays) - 12 hours / week
● Upper Grades (5-8) (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays) - 18 hours / week
for the 2024-2025 School Year. Applicants may apply for either or both positions.
Qualifications:
- Oregon Teaching License preferred
- Experience with elementary and middle school Spanish instruction
- Ability to interact with children and adults in a positive manner
- Waldorf experience preferred or willingness to attend Waldorf trainings
- Willingness to get CPR training or take tests to become certified
- Background check required
- Fluent Spanish speaker
Pay Range: $27.46 to $45.01 depending on experience and education. Additional variable compensation included. Includes flexible benefits and lunch from our healthy kitchen.
