Threemile Canyon Farms is currently seeking an Irrigation System Operator to be responsible for monitoring our Irrigation System and Fertilizer Plant Operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate our Irrigation computer system for scheduling of water flow, start and stop times.
- Process requests for the increase or decrease of the water flow pump.
- Maintain accurate records of the operations of the Irrigation System and the run time of the center pivot machines.
- Operate water Hydraulic systems to ensure proper functioning of the river and booster pumps.
- Maintain current pesticide and fertilizer mix sheets, inventories, and applications locations.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Job Requirements:
- 1-year experience in working with telemetry systems and related software.
- Knowledge of Irrigation practices and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Current Driver License required.
- Punctual and consistent attendance.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
