Our Maintenance Techs are responsible for the upkeep of machinery, facilities, and plant operations by performing mechanical repairs, facility repairs, equipment installations, and general upkeep necessary for safe and proper appearance and function of the facility. This role requires creativity, and a willingness to experiment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Review maintenance requests, identify and recommend solutions.
Assembles and tests operations of machine to verify correction of malfunction.
Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
May weld parts, using act or gas welding equipment.
May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, or relays.
Qualifications:
Experience with equipment/machinery troubleshooting
Must be able to use hand/power tools
Have a great attitude and be willing to stay to get the job done
Ability to think of creative solutions and willingness to give them a shot
Will require overtime or working around production times as business needs dictate
Requires compliance to all department and company Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operation Procedures
Requires team-orientation, common sense and good judgment
Requires ability to take and follow directions, time management skills, organizational development and improvement
Ability to self-start and work independently is critical
Good organizational skills
Flexible hours and ability to work overtime when needed
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
