Job Details:
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour. Pay dependent on work experience and skill level.
Schedule and Hours: Monday- Friday, Year round tree service company position, Full-time 32-40 hours a week. 7:00 am arrival to work time.
Location: Company yard is located in Philomath, Oregon. Job area covers Benton and surrounding counties.

Experience Operating Chainsaws
Oregon Drivers License (CDL Preferred)

Groundsman Responsibilities:
Grease and maintain equipment, load tools and equipment into trucks, check fuel levels of equipment and advise foreman if fuel is needed before the jobs of the day.
Unload tools and equipment at the end of the day, make note of and report maintenance needed on equipment for the following work day (i.e. low fuel levels, dull chains).
Set up job sites, report to a foreman, clearly communicate with other crew members during each job, move brush from drop zone to chipper for processing, chips brush and debris in a brush chipper, push, pull and lift up to 40 lbs, operate chainsaw to process debris for chipping or loading into trailer to be hauled away, assist tree trimmers with tasks as needed, grease chipper on site as needed. Use rakes, shovels and leaf blowers to clean up job sites thoroughly before departure.
Operate skid steer to move debris on site and load into trailer to be hauled away.
Driving Responsibilities: Drive work vehicles daily with a high degree of awareness and safety, and adhere to all Oregon driving laws. Drive work vehicles to and from job sites, often towing equipment trailers. Drive from job sites to dump debris. Back up trucks with trailers in tow. Show proficiency in backing up with awareness and accuracy.
