Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Pipefitter looking for an opportunity to showcase their expertise in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of piping systems
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
Weld or solder pipes together using various techniques
Install pipe hangers and supports to secure pipes in place
Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks or defects
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
Proficient in rigging, welding, and pipe threading techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations related to pipefitting
Knowledge of different types of pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing materials
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers accurately
