Express is now hiring a Quality Control Associate for a well-established seed company in Tangent, OR. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and enjoys a variety of hands-on tasks in a lab or production setting. Training is provided, and multiple schedules may be available!
Pay & Schedule:
$21.00–$22.00/hour
Various schedules available – some flexibility required
Full-time, Seasonal with potential for long term opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate X-ray images of seed samples
Verify quality standards at multiple stages of seed production
Work in a lab setting using microscopes, tweezers, and other small tools
Handle and process seed using specialized equipment
Break down and distribute seed samples to the appropriate areas
Maintain accurate documentation and follow quality procedures
Perform general labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent attention to detail – a must!
Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed procedures
Comfortable working with small items in a lab environment
Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs occasionally
Reliable, punctual, and flexible in tasks and hours
Prior quality control or lab experience is a plus but not required
