Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator proficient in operating and maintaining automatic bagger and stacking machines. The ideal candidate should possess strong computer skills to effectively manage machine operations and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Automatic Bagger Machine:
Set up and operate the automatic bagger machine to package products according to specifications.
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
Operate Stacking Machine:
Manage the stacking machine to organize and palletize packaged products.
Ensure accurate stacking patterns and pallet configurations as per guidelines.
Adjust machine settings to optimize stacking efficiency and maintain product integrity.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Conduct regular quality checks on packaged products to maintain high standards.
Identify and address any quality issues promptly to uphold product quality.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure smooth operation.
Clean and sanitize equipment regularly to meet hygiene and safety standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
Record production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately.
Generate reports on production output, downtime, and quality metrics as required.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Promote a safe work environment by following guidelines and reporting any safety hazards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with automatic bagger machines and stacking equipment preferred.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency in computer operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and operate machinery safely.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
