Seeking a caring, experienced, and reliable nanny for 2 smart, sweet, and energetic 4.5 yr olds near downtown Salem. We are looking for someone to work 30 hrs, Mon-Thurs from 8:30am-4 p.m. This position pays $25/hr pre-tax. We will also provide a monthly stipend for craft materials and grocery delivery, as well as paid federal holidays.
Besides the primary responsibilities of ensuring the kids are safe and having fun, duties include: using a preschool curriculum to support age-appropriate learning, preparing food for snacks and lunch, and cleaning up after the kids each day. We try to center “respectful parenting” principles (check out Janet Lansbury!), and expect our nanny to use this approach as well.
