The Family Resource Center is seeking an Our Little Village Site Director. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.
The Family Resource Center Our Little Village (OLV) Site Director is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the OLV early care and education (ECE) program, a short-term program operating daily Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring terms out of two Corvallis sites (Dixon Recreation Center and Milne) and the International Moms Group (IMG). This includes the supervision of the OLV Assistant Director and the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and mentoring of 45+ student employee caregivers. This position is responsible for fostering positive, nurturing relationships with children and families of which they serve. The OLV Site Director is also responsible for the hiring and onboarding of all FRC ECE Aides (student employees) for the Corvallis campus ECE centers. This position will manage the Our Little Village budget.
The OLV Site Director reports to the Family Resource Center’s Director of Campus ECE within the Division of Student Affairs. This position is informed by the fields of Early Childhood Education, Child Development and Human Development and maintains a working knowledge and compliance with the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) Child Care licensing standards and is knowledgeable about the trends and best practices in the field of early care and education.
