Pacific Coast Canteen LLC is looking for a motivated and professional ROUTE DRIVER to join our team! Position averages 30 hours per week with the possibility of 40 hours per week if interested. This is something we can discuss.
We are a family owned and operated coffee roaster and distribution company located in Corvallis, OR. We service Linn, Benton, Clatsop, Lincoln, Polk, Tillamook, and Marion counties. This position will primarily be delivering to our clients in Linn, Benton and occasionally Marion counties.
Position Description:
1. Route Driver (no CDL required) to deliver coffee and other products to accounts.
2. Must be positive, outgoing, and work well in a team environment.
3. Deliveries will be to coffee houses, cafes, restaurants, offices, hospitals, universities, convenience stores, as well as servicing vending machines.
4. Must be able to deliver to multiple and varied accounts every day.
5. Interact with customers on a daily basis.
6. Use of handheld and other electronic devices.
7. Detail oriented with in-depth product knowledge. We will train you on this.
Requirements:
1. Must be professional with excellent customer service skills.
2. Must be positive, outgoing, and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
3. Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
4. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, get in and out of vehicle numerous times each day, and work in warehouse as needed.
5. Must be presentable, organized, and adhere to company policies at all times.
6. Have a valid driver’s license.
7. Must be willing to call customers with the goal of soliciting orders.
Preferred:
1. Love coffee and have some product knowledge.
2. Sense of humor.
3. Willingness to learn.
4. Hardworking and motivated to get the job done.
5. Experience working with coffee equipment, vending equipment, etc. Don't worry if you do not possess this knowledge. We have a wonderful team that will train you. :)
