Position Summary:
The Finals Builder is a crucial team member responsible for interpreting orders and meticulously assembling, mulling, and finishing windows to meet precise specifications. This role ensures the quality and functionality of the final product before it leaves the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Interpret window orders, blueprints, and specifications.
Assemble window components, including frames, sashes, and hardware.
Mull (join) multiple window units together to create larger configurations (e.g., bay windows).
Apply finishing touches, such as caulking, weather stripping, and glazing.
Inspect completed windows for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain production flow and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Experience in window manufacturing or carpentry preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, and sanders).
Attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
