Job Title: Steel Erector
Western Construction is searching for a steel erector with 5 to 10 years of experience.
THE QUALITIES/SKILLS YOU NEED:
-5-10 years experience with pre-engineered metal buildings and all components associated.
-Strong ability to lead a crew and complete milestone objectives as directed by management.
-Bi-lingual preferred but English required.
-Ability to work independently and lead/collaborate with others.
-Task-oriented and likes a variety of work (all phases of a project).
-Creative and problem-solving mindset.
-Strong understanding of building codes and Oregon safety standards.
-Proficient in on the computer.
-Has current driver’s license and a running vehicle as job cite locations vary around the tri-county region.
-Ability to operate cranes, aerial lift equipment and material handling equipment.
