At Paradox Strength, we specialize in true High-intensity strength training. Our evidence-based approach safely challenges clients to build strength and muscle with maximum efficiency. Most of our clients train once or twice per week on a recurring schedule.
We believe personal trainers are more than fitness professionals—they’re champions of health and well-being in the community. Details:
In-person role at our midtown Bend studio
Competitive starting pay: $32–$36/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Starts part-time (10 hours/week), with the opportunity to grow quickly based on performance, drive, and ambition
Shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM; final sessions wrap by 7:00 PM
No split shifts—your workday is a single, continuous block. No early mornings followed by long breaks and late returns
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in exercise science or related field
Passion for strength training
Openness to learning and expanding your knowledge
Experience working with individuals of varying fitness levels
Personal Qualities:
Maintains a proactive, solutions-focused mindset—emphasizing growth, effort, and ownership over obstacles or limitations
Leads with a grounded and personal approach—helping clients build confidence and resilience through controlled intensity and sound technique
Sees failure as feedback, not defeat
Values clear, courageous communication—honest, kind, and direct with both clients and teammates
Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 high-intensity strength training sessions
Coach proper form and technique with precision and care
Maintain a calm, grounded presence throughout each session
Keep sessions efficient and impactful—each one completed in 30 minutes or less
Ability to train up to 10 clients per shift
Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
Maintain control of the session, keeping clients focused and moving with purpose
