All Star Labor & Staffing is currently hiring or an On-Call Overnight Watch (Security) position to help ensure the safety and well-being of guests.
Position Type:
On-Call / Part-Time
Shift Hours:
5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (14-hour shift)
Includes 2 hours of unpaid break and 2 hours of paid break
Shifts are on an as-needed basis
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor facility access and ensure a secure environment throughout the night
Perform regular walkthroughs of the shelter and surrounding property
Respond calmly and respectfully to guest concerns or conflicts
Maintain clear communication with shelter staff and emergency services if needed
Ensure compliance with shelter policies and safety procedures
Must pass a background check
Qualifications:
Experience in security, emergency response, or shelter/human services work preferred
Must be alert and able to stay awake and responsive throughout the shift
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Must pass a background check
Compensation:
$20/hour starting pay
Includes 2 hours of paid break time per shift
(You will be paid for 12 hours of a 14-hour shift)
