Description:
We are a small manufacturing facility looking for a full time CNC Lathe or Mill Machinist. You will be responsible for programming, setting up and running either the 2 CNC Lathes we have (2017 HAAS ST-20Y & 2022 Eurotech TA-30-YS-640) or 2 CNC Mills (2020 HAAS VF4SS mid 90's Fadal 4020). Must be proficient with CAD/CAM software (we use Fusion 360). Other duties will include general shop maintenance, cutting raw materials with the saw and occasional assembly/fabrication work.
Skills Required:
Proficient with CAD/CAM software (preferably Fusion 360)
Read and interpret engineering drawings and use various measurement/inspection tools.
Safely operate various hand tools and machine equipment, such a lathes, mills, drill press, horizontal band saw, grinder, sanders, iron worker and tube bender.
General knowledge of metals.
Use of manual machinery - mill, lathe, carbide grinders & drill sharpeners.
Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions.
Must work well both independently and as part of a team.
Perform detailed quality checks to ensure that it meets all standard and requirements.
