Previous experience on a fork lift is required and some knowledge of building materials is helpful. This is a physical labor type position; applicants will be expected to lift upwards to 75 lbs. Building Solutions LLC is looking for an ambitious, driven, hard worker to learn the ropes of working in a lumber yard with opportunity for advancement. This person will assist our operations with everything from organizing inventory and building loads, to keeping the yard and warehouses clean and organized. Forklift experience is required and previous lumber yard experience or knowledge of building materials is preferred. Position Summary:
The Load Builder is responsible for the unloading of material delivered by vendors as well as building
loads for our drivers to deliver. Good communication and customer service skills are necessary at all times
when working while conditions may be very demanding. This position requires the ability to safely operate
a forklift in order to move materials throughout the yard and to load or unload trucks. Organizational
skills are required to place items back in stock and to follow paperwork procedures. Sorting
through materials and getting them to the right location using a fork lift or by physical labor is
required. Teamwork is essential to work towards a common goal each day and requires the ability to work
without supervision.
