Lazarus Naturals is currently hiring for an assistant irrigation technician. We are a small, rapidly growing hemp based CBD company, so this is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking for a new challenge. The assistant technician will report to the irrigation manager.
Duties include:
Installing above ground and SSDI (Subsurface drip irrigation)
Installing and repairing lawn irrigation
Repairing agricultural grade irrigation systems:
Managing pivots: includes operation, maintenance and repair
Fixing anywhere between 2 - 6 PVC
Fixing drip leaks during watering
Removing Drip Tape and Plastic Mulch as needed
Organizing parts and tools
Job qualifications:
Must have basic knowledge of Irrigation fittings, nozzles, emitters etc.
Must be comfortable working with PVC pipe, Heavy Duty Glue, Primer and Sawzall machine
Background working with electrical and/or plumbing (Preferred)
Agricultural background (Preferred)
Organized and detail oriented (Preferred)
Expectations:
Willing to learn
Flexible weekly and hourly schedule (weekends are always a possibility)
Physically capable: must be able to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis
When irrigation work slows down must be ready to help out with other projects on the farm
Hours: Seasonal 40+ hours a week to start.
Benefits/Compensation:
$16 - $20/Hr. DOE
