Caregiver needed for a small level 3 senior adult foster home located in NW Redmond.
State of Oregon for adult foster care homes have specific trainings (See Below) that need to be completed prior to training and owner/licensee (me) can help assist this process. Bonus available !
Very flexible with hours (I will work with your availability) but ideally would love someone for Sundays and day shifts during the week
Requirements are-
Background check and fingerprints
CPR and First aid
Caregiver training workbook fully completed
Classes to be completed on Oregon Care Partners website after creating an account-
Pre-Service dementia care training for direct care staff (6 hours online, self pace)
Home and Community-Based Services and Settings (HCBS) and Individually-Based Limitations (IBL) (1.5 hours self pace)
Providing Inclusive Care: Training for Oregon Long-Term Care Facility Staff (1.5 hours self pace)
Your responsibilities include-
Dressing and grooming
Showering and toileting
Medication dispersement
Lifting/using hoyers and sit to stands
Writing small narratives
Cooking meals
Light housekeeping
Companionship and doing activities with residents
End of life care
