The Barn in Sisters, is located in the charming town of Sisters OR. We are a food truck pod that owns and operates a full bar, a wood fired pizza trailer, a scratch kitchen, and we produce artisanal breads. We focus on local, seasonally sourced produce, meats and cheeses. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our inspired team and contribute to the success of our community focused establishment.
Position: Dough production, prep for our pizza trailer, bread production and pizza cooking
Responsibilities:
- Mix, shape and manage pizza dough
- Take charge of the morning routine, including the opening of the kitchen and bread production.
- Execute precise and consistent techniques to ensure the quality and consistency of our products that our customers have come to know and love
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation for lunch and dinner service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pizza/prep cook
- Experience in bread production is highly desirable.
- Ability to start the morning routine and handle kitchen opening responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
