Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations during scheduled shifts, with a strong focus on pizza preparation and dough handling. This leadership position ensures food quality, maintains kitchen efficiency, and manages the BOH team to deliver exceptional service and product.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and lead the kitchen team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high team morale.
-Prepare and work with pizza dough, including mixing, portioning, proofing, and stretching (AM shift)
-Maintain consistency in pizza preparation and overall food quality.
-Handle food orders, inventory, and product rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
-Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
-Train and coach kitchen staff on procedures, recipes, and safety protocols.
-Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
-Collaborate with management on menu development, specials, and kitchen improvements.
-Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role.
-Extensive experience with pizza making and dough handling is required.
-Experience in food ordering and managing inventory.
-2+ years in a similar kitchen or restaurant leadership position.
