Located downtown in Redmond’s historical church, Grace and Hammer Pizzeria has been serving the community wood-fired pizza and tasty drinks since 2019.
We are looking to fill 1-2 BOH positions. We have shifts available Tuesday – Sunday, primarily evenings. Some prior experience is necessary, but we are always happy to train new skills. Being team-oriented and possessing strong communication skills is a requirement, as well as an established sense of ticket and time management.
Initial responsibilities include:
-Accurately read and manage kitchen tickets;
-Assemble, cook, and finish dishes in a timely manner;
-Maintain a clean and presentable workspace;
-Keeping clear lines of communication with FOH;
-Operating kitchen equipment: knives, mixers, slicers, etc. in a safe manner.
We are a scratch kitchen run by a small cross-trained team. Though we frequently get quite busy and fast-paced, we strive to also have a good time doing so. We are attentive to detail, and pride ourselves on quality and consistency.
Must have Food Handler’s Card.
Hourly DOE (18-20 to start) + great pooled tips
