Job SummaryOur busy multi-season rustic lodge and lake resort, featuring rental cabins, a campground, and marina is seeking multiple hard-working, self-motivated Barista/Bartenders to join our team. We are willing to train but you will need to have a current OLCC bartending permit and food handler's card. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guests with amazing drink experiences. Those with previous barista and/or bartending experience and a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude are encouraged to apply. Must be willing to work in a remote lake area approximately 30 minutes from Bend, OR.Responsibilities Learn the food menu and recipes for drinks Help create and curate our offerings including cocktail menu, wine list, and coffee Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Take customer orders and prepare coffee, tea, boozy coffees, beer, cocktails, and alcoholic beverages using established recipes Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform end of shift cleaning duties leaving the bar area and coffee equipment in exceptional condition and ready for the next day. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and with a smile Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer Additional Duties Due to the dynamic nature of the resort, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management. Follow all company, resort, and department policies, procedures, and instructions. Represent the company's management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with guests, colleagues, and staff. Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same. Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role. Address and resolve challenges using available resources. Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the resort’s goals. Qualifications Must be 18+ OLCC alcohol service permit and food handlers card Strong time management skills - prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic math skills for measuring ingredients Previous experience in the food industry preferred, but not required Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Benefits Discounts on food and beverages Employee Merch Paid training and certifications Flexible shifts Staff party Early access to pay with Homebase
