Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Construction Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety protocols on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks associated with construction activities. This role requires strong knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards, OSHA regulations, and effective risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs that comply with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Provide training and guidance to employees on occupational health, safety practices, and emergency response procedures.

Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into construction management processes.

Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper reporting of incidents.

Analyze accident reports and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.

Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a construction safety management role or similar position.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC (National Electrical Code), and EHS standards. Including OSHA 30, OSHA 500

Familiarity with risk management strategies specific to the construction industry.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate employees on safety practices.

Proficiency in using construction management software for reporting and compliance tracking.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in compliance management processes.

Relevant certifications in Occupational Health or Safety Management are preferred.

Job Types: Part-time
