We are seeking a skilled and experienced Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in window installation, possessing a deep understanding of various window types and installation techniques. Responsibilities:
Window Installation:
Execute professional and efficient installation of various types of windows, including but not limited to, vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty windows.
Ensure proper measurement and fit for each window installation, adhering to specifications and project requirements.
Implement a range of installation methods, such as retrofit, full-frame, and new construction installations.
Material Handling:
Safely handle and transport windows to and from the installation site.
Verify and inspect materials to ensure they meet quality standards before installation.
Site Preparation:
Prepare the installation site by removing old windows, cleaning surfaces, and making necessary repairs to ensure a smooth installation process.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough quality checks post-installation to ensure windows are level, plumb, and operate correctly.
Identify and address any issues or defects promptly, maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after installation, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide guidance and recommendations to customers on window options and maintenance.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Properly use and maintain tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Window Installer.
Demonstrated expertise in installing a variety of windows in residential settings.
Skills:
Proficient in using hand and power tools associated with window installation.
Strong understanding of construction and building codes related to window installations.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift and carry heavy windows and work in various weather conditions.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
