Role: Marketing Strategy Manager

Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite) – Relocation Expenses Taken Care

Position: PERM/Fulltime Reports to: Director of Marketing

Primary Role:Provide leadership role in the development of an integrated marketing and advertising program, to include strategic direction for traditional advertising, digital advertising, public relations, and brand and creative integration. Responsible for development, implementation, and integration of company-wide and division specific, strategic marketing communications initiatives to drive brand awareness, sales, and margin dollar growth.

Required Skills:Ad agency experience (either in or supervising), customer engagement and digital marketing experience, deep understanding of social networks. Motivated, self-starter, results oriented, good listener, ability to communicate effectively, organization skills and time management. Must have strong interpersonal skills, planning, and leadership skills. The ability to accomplish tasks in a team environment.

Required Experience:Ten or more years of experience working in progressively responsible and supervisory positions in corporate marketing and/or ad agency account management. Six or more years of experience in development of customer engagement and digital marketing strategies, including social, mobile apps and web. Experience in multi-unit retail organizations, with strong preference for food industry experience. Experience overseeing and coordinating multiple media agencies and partners. Understanding of and experience with consumer insights and market research. Experience building brands and driving sales thru integrated marketing and solutions and campaigns.
  • This position is much like what other organizations would call a Brand Manager.
  • Retail or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) experience required. The person who was in this role before had retail experience.
  • Looking for someone who has experience managing people. This person will oversee our creative group internally, so we would like them to have a strong creative and design background so they can challenge the group and speak the language.
  • Marketing team does not do the Research and Development piece. Operations and Sales Departments drive our strategy here. We need someone who can give advice/counsel, but understand that Sales will drive it and Marketing will run the play. Meaning, our Marketing team gets the promotion from Sales and then finds a creative way to sell the product.
  • This person is responsible for managing our agency, so any experience working with agencies is a huge plus. The agency helps us with graphics and art, but a lot of it is driven by what we tell the agency to do.
  • This is a creative position. We are not looking for Sales, Business Development, or Account Management experience. We have seen a lot of applicants with those backgrounds and they are not a fit.
