Description Our client, a well-established public accounting firm, is seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager to join their growing team. This firm is known for its strong client relationships, commitment to excellence, and providing strategic tax solutions to businesses and individuals. They offer a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Responsibilities: Supervise and manage complex tax returns including corporate, franchise, and individual tax returns Oversee annual income tax provisions and ensure their accurate processing Use various tax software like Lacerte Tax Software for efficient tax management Keep and update accurate records of all tax returns Respond to customer inquiries related to tax returns and provisions Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Ensure compliance with federal tax return regulations Handle trust tax returns with utmost accuracy and attention to detail Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standards of conduct.Requirements A relevant bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license required Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or similar role, specifically within the public sector. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns. Proven ability in handling annual income tax provisions. Expertise in managing individual, franchise, federal, and corporate tax returns. Experience in dealing with trust tax returns. Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and return. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
