Please only apply if you currently live here or are currently in the process of relocating to Tulsa, OK AND open to an overnight schedule.This shift is Wednesday - Saturday 10:00pm to 8:00am CSTOur client in Tulsa is looking for a NOC Technician or Jr. Network Operations Engineer focused on mainatining and configuring Enterprise Network infrastructure, and monitoring network health.This is a Year-Over-Year Contract role with the possibility to go permanent with the end client.Benefits are available throught TEKsystems as a contractor.The work schedule for this role is a 3rd shift - 10:00PM - 8:00AM 4/10, with possible weekend scheduling. This is a 24x7 environment with 3-4 varying shifts.This position is on site in Tulsa, OK.Our client specializing in the energy sector is looking to add a Network Engineer-level associate to their Enterprise Control team.They are looking for candidates with previous NOC or Network Management experience, with experience using Traceroute or similar network troubleshooting tools. In addition, they are also looking for candidates with switch configuration experience, specifically with Cisco hardware.Description:Requirements:
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, etc.).
Familiarity with network devices and technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
Experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, etc.) are preferred, but not mandatory.
