One of our direct clients is looking for Senior Network Engineer in Thackerville ,Oklahoma . Below is the detailed job description. Role: Senior Network Engineer Location: Thackerville ,Oklahoma Position: FTE Day 1 onsite Job Description: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network routing, switching, wireless and firewalls
- 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience on Cisco ASA and Palo-Alto firewalls.
- Prior experience with the design and deployment of firewalls and associated maintenance and configuration of rulesets
- Prior experience with the design and deployment of IDS/IPS technologies
- Expertise working with ACLs, NAT, Remote Access VPN, GRE/IPSEC tunnels
- Experience and detailed technical knowledge of network security, authentication, and security protocols (TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1x), cryptography, and application security
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting technologies/protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, Multicasting, VPC, VSS, and VRF
- Expertise with Cisco hardware platforms such as ASR and ISR routers, Nexus 9Ks and Catalyst 3K and 9K stack switches and Cisco wireless Aps and WLCs
- Good experience or understanding in Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center, and Meraki platforms
- Experience with monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds Orion, Cisco Prime, and ISE
- Experience in using and analyzing packet captures
- Strong knowledge of current network security threats, trends, and mitigations
- Network Security Certifications or related knowledge is preferred (CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Palo Alto certification, etc.)
- Should have good knowledge working with ITIL framework and ITSM tools and practices
- Ability to work independently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and collaboration
