JOB SPECIFICSWashington County Community Services has 2 Part-time or Intermittent Social Worker I/II positions available within the Social Services Division. These positions will be providing Crisis Response and/or Stabilization services. This Unit is responsible for adult and child mental health crisis response and stabilization services, along with after-hours emergency social service, child protection response and adult protection emergency protective service response. The unit is staffed 24/7 - weekends, evenings and holidays. The hours are Friday-Monday, days/evenings, with some holidays and additional on-call coverage. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
Paid work experience providing 2,000 hours of Mental Health Services to Children's and/or Adults
Paid work experience providing Crisis Mental Health Services in a County or Private Agency Setting
Paid work experience providing individual and/or family mental health therapy
Paid Work experience providing mental health case management in a county or community setting
Paid work experience providing substance use disorder treatment services

Lifting requirement may include lifting up to 20 pounds. Exposures may include but not be limited to disagreeable odors, communicable diseases, bodily fluids and behavior challenges.
