Make Ready Technician Needed

We are currently seeking a Make Ready Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Complete assigned work and repair orders in a timely fashion.

Estimate time and extent of repairs.

Perform routine preventative maintenance.

Maintain material and supply inventory.

Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.

Assist in the make ready and remodel process of vacant homes.

Change locks and install lockboxes in newly vacant homes.

Complete work orders assigned by Employer.

Complete work associated with any failed inspections.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

An above average knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional and cordial manner with co-workers, residents, and vendors.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings.

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and use independent judgment.

Ability to handle physical workload.

Deadline and detail-oriented.

Valid license and reliable transportation is a plus.

Full-time hourly position. Starting pay is $15 and can vary based on actual experience and performance.
