As a Shop Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our shop by assisting PDR technicians, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and handling various tasks to ensure efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist PDR technicians with prepping vehicles for repair, including washing, taping, and disassembly as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Transport vehicles within the shop or between locations as required.
- Help with minor repairs, part replacements, and basic vehicle detailing.
- Perform general shop maintenance, including sweeping floors, taking out trash, and restocking supplies.
- Handle customer vehicles with care and attention to detail.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Support the shop team with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of automotive repair or willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.
