Dishwasher & Event Banquet Floor Plan Assistant

This position supports both culinary and event operations through dishwashing, light cleaning, and event floor plan execution. The role is essential for maintaining a clean, efficient, and professional environment during food preparation and banquet events. Flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwashing & Kitchen Support:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and prep equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Support chefs with food prep cleanliness by promptly cleaning prep bowls, cutting boards, utensils, and other tools as needed.

Ensure all kitchen and dish areas remain clean and organized during service and events.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, including taking out trash and recycling when full.

Event Dishwashing & Breakdown:

Clean and sanitize banquet plates, glassware, and service utensils during and after events.

Work with banquet and event staff to quickly collect and clean used items without disrupting guests.

Assist in sorting and storing clean dishware and equipment post-event.

Event Floor Plan Assistance:

Help with the setup and breakdown of event floor plans, including arranging tables, chairs, buffets, and decor elements according to layout diagrams.

Work alongside the Event Manager to execute changes or last-minute adjustments to the floor plan during events.

Minimal Grounds & Utility Cleaning:

Perform light grounds maintenance tasks such as sweeping patios, clearing trash, and ensuring entrance areas are tidy before and after events.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of storage and utility areas used during events.

Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and cleaning practices (training provided).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event dates.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to adapt to various tasks as needed in a hospitality setting.
