Medical Assistant - Optometry SpecialtyWe are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant with optometry experience to join our team in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing patient flow and supporting our physicians through a range of administrative and clinical duties.Key Responsibilities:
Accurately collect and document patient medical and ocular history using an electronic medical record (EMR) system
Perform and document various diagnostic tests as directed by physicians, including:
Visual Acuity
Lensometry
Pupillary Assessment
Ocular Motility
Tonometry
Retinoscopy/Refractometry
Glare Testing
Topography
Color Vision
Dry Eye Testing
Pachymetry
Confrontation Visual Field Testing
OCT
ASCAN
Automated Perimetry
Room patients and take vital signs
Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment
Required Qualifications:
Experience in optometry
JCAHPO certification: COA, COT, or COMT
Proficiency in using EMR systems
Strong attention to detail
Excellent multitasking abilities
Effective communication skills
