Description Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team for a well-known Law Firm in Downtown Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position is pivotal in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.Maintain and organize case files, documents, and correspondence.Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions.Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials to facilitate case progress.Draft and proo legal documents and correspondence for accuracy and compliance.Manage calendars and deadlines to ensure timely submissions and filings.Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and processing mail.Assist with billing and timekeeping as needed.Provide general support to attorneys and other staff members as required.Qualifications:Associate’s degree or higher in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools.Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in [specific area of law relevant to your firm, e.g., corporate law, family law, personal injury].Familiarity with legal software and case management systems (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis).Requirements LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Dictation, Documentation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
