Position SummaryAt Navista, our mission is to empower community oncology practices to deliver patient-centered cancer care. True to our name, our experienced team is passionate about helping oncology practices navigate the future.This role is a senior operations leader responsible to lead new practice integrations for Navista, mobilize, organize & coordinate with practices, Navista & Cardinal Health teams, and vendor partners to optimally leverage resources, technology, and capabilities to successfully integrate and onboard practices. This role has primary responsibility for successful implementation, onboarding and post implementation operations support for practices joining Navista. This role will provide strategic direction and effectively oversees management of day-to-day execution tactics as it relates to all practice due diligence, integration and onboarding needs including clinical, administrative, compliance and technology. This role may directly manage execution of certain workstreams while having oversight of the entire integration & onboarding effort.The Director, Practice Integrations will be a seasoned operations leader with proven experience in community oncology including interacting with physicians and clinicians. This leader will be customer centric with a strong bias for execution. This role will serve as advisor to practice and Navista leadership on operational improvement including developing improved clinical & administrative processes, organizational structures, policies and procedures, service expansion and consolidation opportunities, compliance & regulatory needs, and technologies as appropriate. The leader will recommend organizational objectives to support financial performance and practice profitability and support and adhere to Navista compliance program including code of ethics and business standards.This position reports to the VP, Operations for Navista.This is a remote, work from home position with travel up to 70%ResponsibilitiesDue Diligence, Integration & Onboarding
Serves as project leader for the due diligence, integration & onboarding of practices joining Navista.
Participates in all due diligence efforts including practice assessment to measure opportunities for practice financial performance, process improvement and compliance risks.
Develops & utilizes appropriate tools to track & monitor progress, reports status and communicate with practices, Navista leadership and all other stakeholders.
Provides guidance to practices regarding Navista resources to ensure smooth integration and onboarding. May provide guidance and education to internal Navista and Cardinal Health team members on practice process and operational needs.
Develops new relationships and serves as champion for overall business objectives as related to practice operations.
Ensures meeting Navista commitment to practices related to integration, onboarding, and post implementation support.
Operations Support
Provides operational leadership support to practices as needed.
May need to serve as practice interim leadership for operations.
Supports recruitment of practice staff.
Provides timely feedback to Navista and practice leadership.
Serves as a liaison for practices on all operational needs to ensure elevated customer experience.
Ensures practice leadership has access to Navista resources and serve as a mentor for practice team members.
Leadership & Communication
Timely & effective communicates with Navista leadership around potential conflicts to integration and/or operational success
Supports training and education for practice resources on new processes and Navista engagement.
Effectively manages practice expectations as it relates to all integration efforts.
Participates in the development and communication of budgetary needs for respective departments.
Exhibits leadership throughout the lifecycle of integration and onboarding programs and services by meeting customer expectations and Navista commitments
Effectively communicates with customers, key stakeholders, vendors and management on all aspects of lab services
Develops and maintains customers, staff, vendors and management relationships through individual contacts and group training.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
12+ years work experience preferred
Previous working experience in leadership roles for 7+ years in physician office services related organizations preferred
Proven track record of successful physician practice integration
Project management and/or process improvement experience preferred
Previous experience leading operations within healthcare related organization
Knowledge and implementation of regulatory requirements and laws that govern clinic activities
Superior knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including practice executives
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Problem-solving mindset
Ability to travel as needed (up to 70%)
