Overview
DNI is looking to hire a Facilities Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting various equipment, performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks, conducting lawn care duties, and ensuring preventative maintenance measures are carried out effectively. The successful candidate should have prior experience in maintenance, proficiency in using hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.
Handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
Perform lawn care duties including mowing and landscaping.
Oversee contractors during professional repair projects.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective measures.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance.
High school diploma.
Related degree from a technical college preferred.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines or equipment to replace defective parts.
Familiarity with reading blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
Competent in using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Ability to operate tractors, skid steers, forklifts, and ZTRs.
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Strong background in performing routine maintenance tasks.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.
Attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Ability to work independently while maintaining focus.
Strong time management abilities.
