Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to work at a Fortune 500 company, apply today!Job Profile SummaryDirects and assists employees installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic instruments, electrical equipment, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Human Machine Interface's (HMI's) and pneumatic equipment.Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and assist employees and contractors in performing activities related to electronic instruments, electrical equipment, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interface’s and pneumatic equipment utilized in pipeline and plant operations and compressor stations including but not limited to:

PLC and HMI Programming

Troubleshooting

Installing

Repairing

Calibrating

Maintaining

Assist with performing preventative maintenance and/or analytical testing on compressors/engines, drivers, and auxiliary equipment; identify and order needed parts

Provide information and assistance to management, employees, gas control, vendors, equipment suppliers, and others relative to company activities, policies, and procedures

Coordinate and/or communicate with other departments and management related to projects and operations

Compile, prepare, and/or verify information including but not limited to:

Status/activity reports

Budget information

Training completion reports

AFE’s

Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Work Experience

Experience with instrumentation, electronics, electrical equipment and control systems

Experience in use and function of reciprocating or gas turbine engines, compressors, and electronic and processing equipment applicable to position, including accessing computers and related software

Experience and training related to:

PLC Software/Hardware

HMI Software/Hardware

Gas processing fundamentals

Governmental regulations and electric codes

Company/governmental operating and safety procedures

Emergency response procedures

Communications skills/customer relations

Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively

Experience training, directing, and/or supervising; working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures

Experience researching, compiling, and/or preparing job orders, reports, budgets, and correspondence

Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, governmental regulations, job orders, contracts, drawings, electric codes, policies, procedures, and correspondence

Experience developing information and making presentations to individuals or groups

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to: apply math and algebraic formulas

Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions including use of two way radios
