BASIC FUNCTION: The Wedding & Event Coordinator is a part-time employee expected to represent Pine Lakes Lodge as a friendly, enthusiastic, customer service driven member of the team.
This role will act as a liaison to Pine Lake clients, guests and vendors.
The Wedding & Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in the success of events held on the property.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure event setup is in accordance with Event Order.
- Assist with day-of, on-site logistics of all events, including corporate, social and weddings.
- Act as a liaison at events with caterers, clients and other vendors.
- Oversee entirety of event to ensure it runs smoothly, up until lock up post-event.
- Identifies operational challenges/and or opportunities related to meeting and/or event and develops seamless solutions.
- Must display a clean and professional image.
- Professional uniform will be necessary as well. ( black pants and black shoes )
- Social skills are key
- Must be willing to work outside. ( Ex. summer heat and cold fall days. )
- Help guest find parking.
