Description We are looking for a Grant Writer to join our team, operating remotely. The role functions within the industries of technical writing and Adobe software, specifically in Ohio. As a Grant Writer, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including meeting with the public education department to understand the business and writing grants that align with our goals. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Meet with public education department to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business. Utilize expertise in AP Style and Exceptional Writing to create compelling grant proposals. Develop a deep understanding of company projects to accurately represent them in grant applications. Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Robo to create visually appealing and engaging grant proposals. Collaborate with various teams to gather information necessary for grant writing. Ensure all grants align with the needs and objectives of the company. Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring data integrity. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing or a related field. Strong competency in AP Style. Demonstrated ability in grant writing with a proven track record of success. Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Must exhibit superior writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision. Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and work towards common goals. Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently. Proven ability to conduct thorough research and integrate findings cohesively into grant proposals. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in using computer software and online databases relevant to the role. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate needs and potential obstacles.
